João Domingos (1992) was born and raised in Aldeia dos Cortiçóis, in Benfica do Ribatejo, and believes that this helped him create his image as an urban artist.
From an early age he became interested in the artistic movement in the streets. At the age of 14 he started painting but it was in 2014, while studying Plastic Arts and Multimedia, that his identity emerged, when he signed his final course work. Since then, opportunities have arisen and painting began to play a central role in his life. The name "BIGOD" arises from the connections to his land, to the elders and to the traditions. It is in this context that he defines his artistic line through the stencil technique, giving life to traditions, "the people" and everything that involves the symbolism of the place where he paints. In his personal theme he took the agricultural machine Tractor for personal taste and connection from an early age to this element.
